Our terrariums and plantscapes make a wonderful gift for the novice to the advanced master gardner. Each piece is designed with you in mind. Not only do we want them to be beautiful when they arrive to your home or office but we want them to remain beautiful in your care.
How to select the right terrarium for the recipient
Succulent terrariums are the perfect gift for all as they are almost indestructible. We use drought tolerant plants so a forgetful waterer or novice can have growing success.
Orchids & exotic plant terrariums is what made us who we are today. An orchid terrarium is bright and cheery and makes for a perfect alternative to fresh cut flowers. These will require a little more maintenance and will not survive if allowed to dry out completely - weekly watering is a must for growing succuess.
General Care Instructions
Terrariums recycle their moisture, they need very little attention. A closed terrarium can go months without watering, as it creates its own eco-system. An open container will need water once a week. Each piece will come with specific care instructions. Most importantly ensure the base of each plant and orchid is watered. A turkey baster makes a great tool for watering. Place in a bright area, but not direct sunlight. You should have enough light to read by. Trim or pinch growth to encourage bushier growth as desired. Our years of experience have allowed us to refine our processes and discover the optimum terrarium plants. We use only the hardiest and easy to care for varieties of exotic plants, orchids and succulents. Care Instructions will be included with each order. We guarantee all plants for the fist two weeks and replanting at a discounted rate after two weeks. Please email us if your terrarium begins to look sad.
Shipping
Our shipping days are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. This is to ensure continuous transit of your order and prevent weekend postal delays. We design each piece as it is ordered. For that reason please allow 5 - 7 days for your order to be created and shipped. No two pieces will be identical. Your piece will look very similar to the photos shown on the shopping cart however each will have it’s own personality and style. Each piece will be carefully packed to ensure safety while in transit. Every order is guaranteed for safe arrival.
